Driving successful campaigns for the Fortune 500 and beyond, Omari utilizes dynamic storytelling, thoughtful media strategies, and effective crisis response to generate measurable results that shift culture.

As Vice President of Communications at Spero Studio, Omari leads high-impact earned and paid media campaigns for corporate, nonprofit, and political clients. He develops and executes strategies that secure national coverage, elevate C-suite thought leadership, and influence public conversations on issues from climate change to economic equity.

Prior to his role as a spokesperson and communications strategist for American Express, Omari addressed high-profile national issues at BerlinRosen, where he steered daily client relations and media outreach as a crisis client counselor and guided clients through a tumultuous election-year media environment. 

At Ketchum, Omari supported media initiatives for Fortune 500 companies including Verizon, P&G, Mastercard, The International Space Station and more, where he earned PRWeek’s 2019 “Best in Corporate Social Responsibility” recognition for driving Michelin’s #StreetTread media campaign. That same year, he was recognized as one of the year's most influential millennials on the inaugural #MogulMillennialMagic list.

Omari brings a global perspective and an impact-oriented mindset to his work, driven by a passion for news, entertainment, and emerging trends. He excels at leveraging his media relationships and unique experiences to craft strategic communication that ensures client stories get the attention they deserve.

Based in New York City, Omari spends his free time writing fiction, reflecting on the times, and cooking like the pandemic never ended.
